With a little bit of cell reception and an amazing loop trail of the badlands I would definitely recommend coming out here. I would just keep in mind that this spot is very dry, no shade, and can be very windy.

Plenty of options in this general area. Soft ground aplenty so take care. There are a few rather tired looking trees to offer shade and a measure of privacy from Dillon Rd.
OHV area at the weekends and wouldn't risk entering hereabouts during the rainy season.
We took the second dirt road entrance and drove in about a couple of miles. We are in a 2x4 170 Sprinter that has an Agile RIP kit and all terrain tires.
There was soft sand and a few sketchy washed out uneven spots that we drove through to get where we stopped. Once back into the hills a bit there are multiple burned cars sitting in the road and alot of trash. There are also transmission towers everywhere. We decided to leave due to the towers buzzing and guns being shot in the distance. Would be cool minus the electrical towers
