We spent a very peaceful night in one of the chalets for N$250 pp including one of his orynx/lamb sausages. Lesley is a very welcoming and knowledgeable man. His family are 5th generation Namibian farmers, originally from Scotland! We enjoyed a drink when we arrived and breakfast together at the farmhouse before we left. A unique experience we won't forget.
Report Check-InWe camped one night for free. Nobody was around. No signal, there was a toilet and a shower but very durty!
It also has a tap with water.
Lesly the farm owner is a very nice guy.
The camp is on his farm, surrounded by sheep and goats. The ablutions are shared and very basic, but they do the job. The 3 camp sites are very private and have shade by trees. The price was 125ppn (probably can negotiate a bit). I paid 140 instead and got a sausage for the Braai on top and was allowed to use some wood from the donkey for the Braai. The sausage’s sheep and goat taste is very special and probably not for everyone, but I enjoyed it.
Clean. No charging points in bungalows. Negotiated 250 per bungalow. 500metres from road- so easy to cycle to. Cycled from Beta.
