Latest Check-Ins

We found the museum interesting and the bar really funny. March 2024 combo 15000 pesos for an adult and 10000 for a child. In the Glaciobar you can have 2 drinks. Good experience for us, even if the price for a family is a bit expensive.

Normally we loved museum and our kids 9 and 12 Y also. But this one for us is nothing special. Many things to read. 😳Nothing really for kids. They bored all visit. We came at 16pm. They was no place for the ICEbar that will be more fun…but no place. 😤Expensive for the museum even it is was must to do in the lonely. The shop was nice with prices ok: postcard with design drawings about site on Argentina😜

glacier museum, glaciarum. here you will learn how a glacier is formed, the different types of glaciers and will have the opportunity to see a film about the perito moreno and its ice bridge. there is also a frozen bar. entirely made of ice, you pay the entry for the bar and you have a warm suit and gloves for about 20 minutes in the bar where you can consume what you want during this time. for 2 adults and 3 children we had it for 40€. under 12 it's half price. 3500 pesos per adult for the museum. if you take the museum and frozen bar combo it’s 5500 pesos.

Now 800pp for foreigners. Yes, it‘s expensive like everything around here, but you can easily spend 1-2 hours here and get tons of information, nicely displayed incl. two beautiful short films (one is even 3D), showing all the glaciers around and how the damn of Perito Moreno collapses. For small children no much to do, lot to read, but interessting.

We have been to museums all over the world. Compared to others in general with a price of 480pp this is far to expensive. We can find a lot to do for half that price. It looks nice but very small all around. We passed on this one.

If you have children, come here. It is a very complete museum on everything around the science of glaciers. Great before visiting perito moreno. Many interactive and fun exhibits, including footage of the rupture, very impressive. Ideal way to spend half a day when the weather is rainy and cold. Got everyone very excited to go and see the glacier. Easily negotiable for the entrance.
