Wild camping in BLM land. Just before the campground, turn right. Lots of spots. 4WD recommended. Super quiet. Good cell coverage.

BLM Land. Stayed there for three nights while visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Great place, lots of space, quiet. Good cell phone coverage. There were some other campers, appears to be a popular and convenient spot. We camped in our 26 ft travel trailer. No problem driving in and finding a spot. There were a number of standard 2WD cars in the area too. We left the trailer there while visiting the park.
Report Check-InI drove out here in my Kia Soul, it’s fine. 2 bars of service, AT&T. You can take hot showers at the nearby RV park. No one was out there. Pretty at sunset and to see the town after dark.
Report Check-InEasy to find: there's a single Joshua Tree. A bit further east, closer to the hills, there are more spots. Strong winds this afternoon and a lot of sand in the air south of here. Decided to leave after one hour since we did not want to be in a sandstorm if the wind shifted a little.
