Nice campground. Got a primitive campsite for $15/night for two nights. You can hear traffic on the highway but it wasn't loud enough to bother me or keep me awake or anything. Most of the other campsites were full but I didn't hear a peep from the other campers while I was here. Bathroom was clean. Shower was not hot, maybe lukewarm at best, or maybe I just got used to the temperature. Got one or two bars on Verizon.
Report Check-InThe price is now $15 for primitive. A nice, simple campground and the oyster bar next door is a good time. I would definitely recommend.
Report Check-InSmall campground right off the road across from St. Marks National Park. Clean bathroom and friendly host.
Report Check-InNice little campground, welcoming host (Gerry). 25$ electricity & water, 31$ with sewer. Plenty of firewood (15pcs/10$).
Report Check-Ingreat place, nice host. New prices are 15 primitive, 25 water and electric and 31 full hook.up. 5g T-Mobile at 25Mbps.
Report Check-InStayed here one night on the way to Panama City Beach. This is a great little campground right off the road. The cost was $22/night with water and electricity (50/30/15). The pump out station is free for campers. Closing in April for updates, such as bathhouse. Pet friendly. A couple of boardwalks, one to a pier and the other to a boat ramp. In March, it was dry with no bugs. The summer may be a different story. There is a seafood restaurant within a short walking distance that offers live music some nights. Camp host was very helpful and friendly. I will stay again
Report Check-InI was a bit anxious about coming here after reading the reviews but was luckily positively surprised! It’s a lovely little site, with friendly people and great hosts! The Bathrooms are super clean and the showers are simple but hot, with good pressure.
It is true they will be closing 1. April for a few months.
Be aware that when tent camping, that the road is very very noisy! (Weekday)
Okay, but not great. Closing April 1, 2022 for.much needed renovations.
Report Check-InCounty park campground near WMA and St. Mark’s Wildlife Refuge. Go there! This is a convenient spot to explore tge Big Bend scenic area. One loop, most sites close together, 30 sites, some a little wet. Primitive $11 or electric $22, full $27. Not the prettiest cg but it is safe and the camp host is sweet and kind. A few rvs look like they are permanent residents. The sign does say 180 day stay limit. Hot showers and flush toilets. Worth $11 for the showers alone. Close to a busy road that gets s little loud but is not too had. Gorgeous river and boat ramp within walking distance, perfect launch for kayaks and canoes.
Report Check-InA very nice campground with space for us tent users. $11/night with ok WiFi, hot showers and clean bathrooms. Betty, the host is a doll! Big rig friendly. Close to the highway but the noise doesn’t appear to be too disturbing. Fire ring and picnic tables at each site. There is also a dump station and a dog walk! The tent site has 110 V plug you can plug your computer in! Perfect!
