Chile
This place is great if you plan to leave your car for hiking (1000 per day) or just if you want roc camp near the river. Hot showers, a Refugio to hang out in, and laundry service. 4000 per person to camp however the guy who owns it is rude and there is free parking across the way.

The place was closed, without any message out side but just a CLOSED SIGN. Could be, that it was due to the weekend parties, but, rather give a heads up! I'll add another campground, just 300 mts before Rustika, coming from cerro castillo, very simple, yet two humble young guys manage it and are super kind. Across Rustika, after the bridge there's a parking lot where I'm sure people can spend the night, river next to it!
People if you free camp please leave clean ! dig your wholes and take it all with you you !!
Report Check-InNice camping spot very close to the start of the trail. The owner was very nice, there was a small private barbecue the evening we arrived, so they let us drive our van onto the grass field so that we would have more privacy. Shower was warm and there is a building where you can cook when the weather is bad.
Report Check-Inyou get what it says "camping rustica", so dont expect anything fancy. basic refugio, showers and campground, great place for starting the hike or coming back from cerro castillo! 5.000 pP
Report Check-InStay there two nights. Well located to hike to the cerro castillo. Nice refuge. :)
Report Check-InGreat place if you like people yelling at you! We came over from the senderos parking lot planning on camping here the same day, asked to use the bathrooms in the refugio, and the people inside said yes. After this we used the restrooms anticipating paying for them however they were happy to let us use them for free. The owner came up right before I used the bathroom and freaked out on me accusing me of sneaking, jumping fences in Patagonia and how things are so different in "North America." That was crazy rude and intense. No signs, no warning just a really rude "16 year traveler," as he put it, as camp host. SKIP THIS ONE!
