Place to put your tent up before going to Laguna Amarilla. Not perfectly flat but ok. Natural water nearby on the rivers and some protection of the wind and rain by the trees. From here it's a 1h uphill climb to the viewpoint of the lagoon. This is property of the Sangay National Park and free to camp.

Good place to camp, with water and free. Seems to be crowded especially on weekends.
Instead you can also camp before the refugio (look for the written words "shelter" next to the trail on maps.me (with running water) or all the way up at the laguna (without running water but a small lake of rain water)
