Up a dirt road from the national forest campground, we spent 2 days on this little bluff with no one bothering us. There were a few fire rings to mark spots. A few ATVs went by during the day, but peaceful at night. High clearance would be helpful on the road up. Pretty view of the mountains.
There was great Verizon 4G service.

closed. Someone built a fence and placed boulders around the dirt road leading in, preventing access. The small pulloff after the fence looks to be on private property too.
Report Check-Inchilled here for a night and didn’t see anybody. nice view, great sunset. AT&T cell service. high clearance definitely helpful. our jeep patriot did well on the road but there was one dip that was a little iffy when we drove out in the morning.
Report Check-InHigh atop a bluff up a boulder strewn dirt road. Verizon 13/22 upload/download. Overlooking the valley and Rt 24 below. Turn R off Rt 24 to Sunglow Campground just before Bicknell, then R again onto dirt road. Diesel in Bicknell and groceries ahead in Loa.
Report Check-InSome shade available. Many tiny cacti so use caution with a dog. Beautiful view of valley and great sunsets!
