Water spigot when you come in the road on the right near the pit toilet. Assume it’s potable; however we bleached just to be safe!
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Pit toilet and water spigot. Didn’t check to see if the spigot worked though. One campsite has a table and nice fire ring. There were 6 groups camping in the area. We had room in our van. Any vehicle can make it. The trail is very overgrown though. Stayed one night.
Report Check-InTo clarify location: when you pull in, turn right and it’s after the toilets on the right side, before you get to the roundabout for the trailhead.
I hooked up a hose just fine, it’s close to the road and plenty of room.
Report Check-InSpigot is still working beautifully. The info board at the trailhead says it will continue to be available as community water even though the campground is closed. A volunteer that was sweeping out the toilet area confirmed it was potable! :-) This is also a nice area to overnight, still a couple old fire rings. Trail is very overgrown, so I only went a little bit in before turning around. Two bars for Verizon without booster turned on.
