Description
Best hotel we saw in Aguachica. There are tons of hotels in this town, the others we saw on iOverlander either were not at the given GPS coords, or were pretty lacking. We stopped at several others that also weren't very desirable.
Luz Mery was clean, secure, had good WiFi, was dog friendly, gated parking (good for rigs under about 2.8m). The main strip down Aguachica on which Luz Mery and many other hotels are situated isn't much to look at during the day, although there are several restaurants, grocery and hardware stores nearby. But at night everybody comes out and smaller food vendors set up on the street.
Paid $55k COP for double with AC and private bath

It is an ok hotel. Staff not particularly friendly and the room not extremely clean. But it is at a convenient location and it's secure. The entrance to the parking is only 2.60m high at the lowest point! Price for double-room with private bath is still COP 55k.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for one night on the way from Minca to San Gil. It has basic rooms with fan/ac for $50k per night. Secure parking, decent WiFi and good Restaurant across the street.
