Not a bad spot for cycle tourists, although it’s more of a picnic area than a campsite. The more northerly options around Santa Maria seemed to have fences and gates, which helps for peace of mind if you don’t have a vehicle. Saying that, we had a super quiet night and found a spot behind a grill that kept us completely hidden from the road. Nice to have running water and electricity. Pool empty right now so no one around.
There is a small covered area if rain was a threat - but it’s right by the road and the lights stayed on all night.
