Description

* Road Blocked.
....
Pretty easy road to drive in on. This is the first quick pull off on level land. There is a larger open field about a mile further in. Only about 100 yards you would need to go slow on. The highway noise doesn't carry over too much. Full bars of LTE on T-mobile so everyone should be covered.

Hot springs are 3 miles west of here. Also not sure if this is anyone's land but we had no problem for one night.

there's a barbed wire fence blocking the road

Report Check-In

Awesome spot! A bit of a mud slip and slide on some parts but if you’re in a 4 wheel drive with enough clearance, should be okay. We were in a 2020 Subaru Outback.

Decent quiet spot close to the park and the springs to park at. Fairly level. The gate is a barbed wire fence you detach. Would be easier to set back up with two people. Worth a stop for a free place.

Turn left on a small unmarked road that's a single lane road, fyi. Don't turn down it if you see someone else on it. You have to open a small fenced cattle gate to get to this spot. This is blm land so it's fine just close the gate. The spot is medium size and fit our 25' truck and trailer and a friend's smallish, class c. Quiet but a little road noise. Great spot if visiting the Craters of the Moon area. Wide open so height is not an issue.

Report Check-In

Yep, private. I came and it was gated off

Report Check-In

We were surprised at how quiet this spot is. No shade as previously mentioned but we lucked out as it was cooler when we were there. The hot springs down the road is pretty large but had quite a bit of algae.

Report Check-In

This place is very quiet and you definitely have it to yourself. It is also extremely hot with no place for real respite. This is a perfect option if you were arriving late in the evening and just need a place to land to sleep. Nothing else to do here.
