Something not right?

Description

Great little site! Overlooking the river. The river is easily accessible. 2wd will do just fine. Lots of ruts though. Slight noise from the road but drowned out with the flowing water. Fire rings present. Cell reception was great. A camper trailer would be just fine

Loved this place. Had to leave because it rained and got quite muddy. Before the rain, our 2WD van made it easily. There’s one spot right on the road but as you keep going you can turn left or right. There’s 2 places with fire rings to the left and 1 to the right. There is a trail all the way down the left side of the road that was fun to walk down. Cows everywhere. They didn’t get up in our space but were in a couple other campsites. They have cowbells so you know where they are. Some broken glass and trash around but it wasn’t bothersome. Stayed 2 nights.

Secluded site by the river hidden behind trees next to the road, spot marked is easy to get to though I couldnt get my SUV as level as Idve liked so I drove further in and made a right turn and found another spot and backed in, very private and gorgeous views. If you go further the road is DEEPLY RUTTED very large potholes, I drove lining my tires up with the highpoints and didnt have any issues but wouldnt reccomend the 2nd spot for low clearance vehicles or large rvs

Report Check-In

There are spots on both sides of the river. Traffic dies out after sunset. Peaceful night. No bugs despite being by the water.

Nice spot near the creek. Good Verizon signal, no T Mobile. 2wd low clearance accessible. cross the creek on the main road, then turn right. We took a spot through the fence. Space to turn our 20 ft van around, and level. No one else here when we arrived on a Saturday evening in August. One other car pulled in nearby at maybe 9 or 10 pm.

Wonderful spot with multiple places for rigs and tents. I had a jeep gladiator with Rooftop tent and I went passed a barbed fence area and found a secluded level spot above the river. There was space for a larger rv as well. Zero cell reception. Slight noise from traffic but the sound of the river made it pleasant

Nice place by the River, road does not bother. There is a high chance of encountering awesome people already camping there, light a fire and enjoy a good ol’ conversation!

We parked our 2wd 20ft Citroen Relay (same as Promaster) on the Virgin side of the old bridge. Backed up to railings and on old tarmac so pretty level and solid. Removed about 20 cans from fire pit - why do people think that throwing them in a fire makes them disappear? Some little flies but not bitting. Pretty good spot, bit of road noise but river noise was lovely. Good for the odd overnight and close to road.
Looks like there is another site the other side of the river but didn't investigate. We took the RH of the two tracks up as it was less rutted.

Grabbed the first spot from the road. Had plenty of shade from a big juniper tree. While it was close to the main road, the street noise wasn’t a bother as it was pretty infrequent and the river also helped drowned it out. Spotted at least 5 other sites in this area, which were occupied, but everyone had their own privacy. Down the road from our site did get a little rutted out, but nothing too bad. We were a little fearful in our older 2 wheel drive van. There were trucks, a trailer and another camper van that made it through. I would definitely stay here again.

So so many tiny black flies. We had to pack up and leave.

Great little spot. There’s 2 spots before the bridge and then more after the bridge. Lovely to hear the water and sounds of life in the desert. No Verizon service

Report Check-In

Very little road noise. Downed bridge so you can’t go further in. I only saw one site, other mentioned 5? There was a fire ring but I didn’t see others- but it was dark when we arrived. We were able to climb the small bumpy hill in a prius no problem- but if it was raining the mud could get slick for 2wd.

Report Check-In

5 campsites all above the creek. Campsites down below can’t be reached due to bridge down.
1 campsite 30 yards off Kolob Terrace Rd. Perfect if you have a trailer. Other 4 sites down below is 2wd doable but don’t recommend long trailers/large RVs.
Sprint- spotty but has LTE 1 bar and loads youtube.
Verizon- NA

this place was nice, it was nice to be right by the river. hard to find a really shady spot and some sites do not have much privacy.

Report Check-In

Great place. Shaded and next to the river. Quiet.

fine with 2wd, but a bit groovy at the beginning and in a couple parts. be careful and you should be fine. we stayed two days instead of one because this little spot was a gem! a bit overcrowded, but well worth the stop. love the sound of water in the desert! be sure to go across the stream (on the rocks or by foot) and hike up the ridge a ways. beautiful 360 views and a good morning sweat. Also, there are cows by the river in the AM ogetting their drank on, so that's cute. perfect AT&T service too. 9.8/10 spot!
