again iOverlander gets us to a perfect free camping in a prime location! really nice spot on the river, a bit of noise from the bridge traffic, but no big deal. 2 other campers which is sorta nice. would definitely stay again. also check out the beaver dam along the road out. cool spot!

Report Check-In

lovely spot. great view of the river and a large lot for multiple vehicles.
we came in early March so we had the place to ourselves for 3 nights.
maybe 15 cars drove through during that time and most of them just pulled in to look and drove away. Park rangers came by for 5 minutes but didn't even talk to us or leave their truck.
would definitely come back!

Very nice spot. Down by the Missouri River. There is a boat ramp here and some traffic, but over all, very nice and quiet spot to spend a night or 2.

I will come back to this space in the future!!

Great spot that would fit a couple large rigs. We stayed over for one night on our way to SD. The flies are a bit of a battle, the shitter was filled to the brim and trash was overflowing but we think that’s because there is a dilapidated schoolie over in the corner that is busting at the seams. Great view, quiet spot, and would use this spot again. AT&T signal is mediocre at best.

A nice peaceful spot. I filtered water from the Missouri River for tomorrow's journey. The water is easily accessible as there is a boat launch but I see people swimming farther east; which is accessible by boat.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot but lots of bugs. Room for several campers.

Gravel road to get there. Not the biggest area but plenty of room. There were two other rigs there. Amazing view of river!! Can sleep overnight. People do come to put boats in river in morning but quick and quietly. Would stay again 100%

Open grassy space without designated campsites.

wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised. they're is a lot of room for several rigs, a pit toilet and nice river access. I saw fire flies and listened to crickets all night. two bars of Verizon. would return.

We traveled to this spot in our 2005 Sprinter van. Great place to hang out for the day. We came on a Sunday afternoon and had almost the whole place to ourselves. The pit toilet had been emptied and was very clean. Garbage and recycling also available. A few cars came in and out along with a few boats launching.

Gravel road to the launch is very well maintained. We came to this spot from Vermillion and there were no height or width restrictions.

The pad to park on is very level although if the boat launch is busy, I can see the lot being tight. We came in a very dry season so there were no issues with the lot but I could imagine if there had been a lot of rain that the lot could get muddy as there isn’t a lot of gravel down. Over all would recommend.

Great spot right on the Riverbend. Slept here for a night in our ProMaster Van. The road is a little messy due to the snow melting, but we took it slow and made it just fine. The toilet was not cleaned, so we did not use that. You can hear the birds and wildlife in the distance, making it so peaceful. We had an overall great peaceful night here, highly recommended by Us - Adventure Randomly ✌️

About an half acre of level grassland on the bank of the Missouri river (Nebraska side) with a boat ramp and a pit toilet in the middle. The ramp is lit at night. We had the place to ourselves on a balmy October Monday night and had an outdoor shower.

We stayed here just one night in our van. We pulled in around 8pm and had the place to ourselves all night. It’s just a big grassy field but it’s not super popular for camping so you still have complete privacy. In the morning people come to fish on their boats but they park on the opposite side it seemed like. Bathrooms were open and there is a trash on site. Good AT&T service.

Easy to access. Great spot. Lots of room. Grassy area. Beautiful views. One other camper here otherwise just fishermen. Nice breeze so that will help with bugs. Vault toilets are locked.

Report Check-In

A beautiful view of the Missouri River. A quiet overnight camp is common. Some freak shit on the floor of the vault toilet, possibly the same one who did this at North Lake Campground in Columbus, NE 😄

Report Check-In

Quiet, and peaceful spot. Some car traffic throughout the night on the road that leads to peoples houses. Highway traffic across the river, but you don’t hear much of it. When I arrived there was only one van in the lot. Everything was great minus the toilet area. Someone basically looked like they had taken a shit on the floor and was on the toilet seat a bit. Floor stuff was dried up, so I don’t know how long it was there for. Kind of disgusting to see, but it didn’t smell thankfully. Just watch your step…

very quite spot on the Missouri River. flat and grassy. we spent one nite. There is no signage about camping and no one bothered us. vault toilet and trash & recycle .

Report Check-In

a nice view of the mo. with a pit toilet and a picnic table and a boat ramp. even on mortal day weekend we only saw 3 vehicles all to use the boat ramp.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet riverside camp site. Pit toilets and trash available. Flat parking, plenty of room for our 40 foot fifth wheel.

Seems to be a hangout spot for teens or young adults. Had one sports car drive around for a while. The two people in there car were yelling at each other. It was definitely annoying. They eventually left.

Then, maybe 30 minutes later (i.e. now 0100), a truck came up blaring music as loud as possible. And they're just sitting in their car.

In both groups' defense, our promaster is pretty incognito. They likely think it's just an empty utility vehicle. So, it's completely understandable, and I don't blame them. But, just know it can be a hopping spot (though we may just be unlucky).

Report Check-In

Great quiet spot on the river down a well maintained gravel road. Trash & recycling near toilet. Large parking lot to the right of the boat launch. Parked up in our 170wb sprinter for the night and had enough privacy for an outdoor shower with sunset views.

Very nice spot had no issues with a 37 foot motorhome class a pulling a car. We would definitely stay here again
