Only camping available at this time of year. Needed electricity with 0 C at night. Way much too expensive for what we got, a small triangle spot between 2 roads, picnic table and firepit. No trees.. Flooded grounds. Only 2 washrooms, shower part of toilet room. If someone in the shower, no access to toilet. At 78$, never will go in a KOA again.
Report Check-InNot many options to camp around Sturgeon Falls to power up your battery and get a shower so the KOA was our choice for tonight. A little pricey but very well-maintained, clean, and friendly personnel.
Report Check-Inwe were looking for a place to dry camp close to home as we just bought the trailer and wanted to give it a go before parking it for the winter. where we wanted to camp was full up as it was the last chance for most people before kids went back to school. I did a quick search and found there was a KOA in Sturgeon Falls with a few spots available. we jumped on it. glad we did. it was close-ish and the place was spotless. beautiful spot on the river. our site came with sewer, water, electric, a deck and patio furniture as well as the standard fire pit. a bit pricey, but I get it for the convenience. they had some activities for campers, kid and pet friendly with a small dog park. a small convenience store in the check-in building with limited items. our only con was personal. there's not a lot of personal space between us and the other campers. but if you are a people person and like to get to know others then it's great :)
