The dirt road is relatively well maintained but pay attention to big dips & mud. You’d have no problem with a regular 2WD vehicle but perhaps not when it rains.Right across from the pull off is a clearing which worked out well in terms of lighting, as we got here as the sun was setting. We saw a couple of deer & tons of fireflies. The crickets & hooting owls sang us to sleep.

Report Check-InThe dirt road is relatively well maintained but pay attention to big dips & mud. You’d have no problem with a regular 2WD vehicle but perhaps not when it rains. I car camped here in my Subaru Crosstrek with my dog. Right across from the pulloff is a clearing which worked out well in terms of lighting, as we got here as the sun was setting. We saw a couple of deer & tons of fireflies. The crickets & hooting owls sang us to sleep.
