Something not right?

Description

Nice spot in the Inyo National Forest. There are quite a few spots down a nice dirt road, no 4x4 needed. This particular spot is nice and roomy, away from the road, and surrounded by trees. Fire ring, but there are fire restrictions currently in place. I have 2 bars Verizon 4G.

Beautiful spot that can easily fit a couple cars or an RV. Woke up to a beautiful pink sunrise surrounded by trees. I love my personal space so this spot was great!

Report Check-In

Stayed here 2 nights! A couple trailers parked across from us - seems like they may be staying here long term, but never saw anyone come out or bother us.

We stayed at a spot a bit past these coordinates since this one was taken.
Didnt see any other cars come down this road either during this time so it doesnt seem like there would be a problem getting a spot.

Shaded and cool, only complaint was that there were lots of ant hills everywhere and some wasps too. But other than that, easy to get to spot that was quiet and a convenient 30 min from most of the hikes around town

Report Check-In

Easy access not far off the pavement. Good dirt road and large areas to pull in. Good Verizon and AT&T LTE. Good place when the wind is blowing. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean 🌲

Lots of trees - tons of sites. In hey I’m running late be there in September was nice - had a lot of space to self without feeling totally isolated as other campers within sight. Nice for a newbie campervan-er. Couldn’t tell freeway from wind rustling through the trees. Pictures shown are very accurate.

Looks like there is a permanent rv’er at the front of the forest but there are multiple spots if you drive further down. Spots are relatively level and shaded. Tons of large ants and yellow jackets in the area so be aware if you have dogs. Good AT&T signal and 1-2 bars of TMobile.

Report Check-In

Stayed a bit further in because sites were occupied. Enough pullouts for several rigs. Road noise present all the time. Not too disturbing, but we're are only 1/3 miles direct line to the hwy. Will come here again when in the area. Sprint signal very good. Visible (Verizon) ok.

stayed for 3 nights, great spot. no 4x4 needed depending on the way you go, got chipmunks in the van when I left the door open
close to road but no noise

Report Check-In

lots of snow still. awd, snow tires, or 4x4 this time of year. got stuck in my 2wd. turned back a bit to find some dirt

Report Check-In

A nice level area away from people. It’s about 1km in from the highway. Lots of flat areas with light forest. Sandy but easy to drive on. The duff is thick so leveling is easy.

We have a 30’ bus towing a Jeep and we disconnected to turn around. There are many other spots which can be used without unhooking or turn around issues.

T-Mobile has two bars.
