In the meantime they overbook the place. We booked it in advance and as we stayed there a group of three cars came, also booked. As we need nothing we parked outside to be alone, but it worried us ofc. But the waterhole is nice. Giraffes, impalas, zebras, one hippo which is staying always in the whole as a permanent residence, fat crocodiles a lot of birds, elephants. At that time no lions, but we heard a lot in night.

A very nice campsite. Really lovely place and i think not as busy as masuma.
We just stopped for lunch and there was not much except of plenty birds, crocodile, zebra and impala. But I am sure in the afternoon elephant will join for drinking.

This is a picnic site during the day and a private camp that out can book (at Robin’s Camp or Sinamatella) and highly recommended. It is an experience to sleep alone in the bush. At this time of the year there is not sonmuch wildlife except crocodiles in the waterhole, but we heard a lion calling during the evening and furthermore got a glimpse of it for a minute or so in the morning when he passed the area behind the waterhole. A ranger will explain things and bring you fire wood and check on you in the morning. Toilets and cold shower and a nice hide. 29$ pp for camping, 10$ pp entry fee and 10 $ for the car (only if it is your first night, as valid for 5 days).

Private campsite next to a great waterhole with lots of animals; elephants, lions, big herd of buffaloes etc. Private hide, so you can quietly observe the wildlife. We first wanted to stay in Robins camp, but were advised by the ranger to go here. Easily worth the money (29$ per person); there is a shower, toilet, fireplace and running water. A ranger is present during the day and he will come get you in case he sees anything interesting. Enjoy!
