Nice quiet campsite right along the KAT. Enough room for 3 vehicles and a stream running nearby.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
After a bunch of mud holes which our van had no problem traversing....the road narrows to the point that it is not passable by anything but the hardiest 4wheel drive vehicle. 2ft drop off on one side and road is washed out on the other side at the culvert.
Report Check-InHigh Clearance 4wd only!
Narrow trail and deep rutted mud holes. You’ll think you are lost, but if you have a capable keep going. Stock trucks and SUV will have trouble. You’ll get pin striped by the foliage. No cell service. Save your map offline. Trail is at the end of a single lane paved road. There are a couple of trails shooting off of the main trail so pay attention. No
Place to turn around. You’ll be backing a long way and the trail is tight.
didn’t make it to the site, the road was far too treacherous for my SUV. had to drive through a lot of what looked like private property, wouldn’t recommend without 4WD, even then i wouldn’t attempt. ended up taking a wrong turn and our car was chased by a pack of beagles, so definitely don’t do that lol
Report Check-InBeautiful drive on a skinny road through the hills. The road closer to the camping spot was unsurpassable do to mud and giant ruts in the road. It was a long way to back up being unable to turn around in my class c.
