Ok pour passer une nuit même si c’est une aire de pique-nique, mais bruyant! Personnes n’est venu nous demander de partir. Simplement deux voitures sont passées dans la nuit assez bruyamment (musique rugissement de moteur). Pour un arrêt sur la route ça fait le job.

Only two parking spaces, and one was full of broken glass on my visit. Definitely wouldnt bring anything larger than a van in here. Limited shade for parking spaces, but there are two covered picnic tables and one covered bench.
The upside is that the parking area and picnic tables are on a hill above the highway, so it's entirely out of view. Still plenty of highway noise. Several people stopped here during the day, but I was the only one who stayed after dark and nobody even drove through until late the next morning.

The sherif that is just a rest area no a overnight area. He verified all our papers: ID, insurance, driving licence.

very nice spot. almost nobody the day and nobody at night. a bit road noise but ok

The view is worth the detour! There are 2 picnic tables, some benches, and some garbage cans. The parking spots are definitely not level but it was fine for a night.

There are 2 official spots but people seem to also park around the circle. Just not in the handicap spots.

not bad spot. not very level but that didn't bother us, no one else came, nice sunset and sunrise vmiews.

Update: the town below is called Starzville, it has several gas stations, a CVS, Lowe’s, local hardware store, Dollar General and several food options. The sheriff pulled around the circle around 8:45 in the morning but didn’t bother us, or even stop.

We spent one night here, it was perfect!! As OP stated, no “no overnight” parking signs, just a few handicap-only spots to stay clear of. Got here around 10pm, no one else was here. Very quiet all night, some noise from the road below the picnic area and does pick up a bit in the morning, but not nearly as loud as a rest stop and sooo much prettier to wake up to (I’ll include photos). No amenities, but Canyon Lake is the town below and seem to have several options. A pickup truck pulled in right before sunrise, but no one bothered us — probably just enjoying the incredible view from up here!

Picnic area on the side of the road. I came to check out at twilight, there are no signs of 'no overnights prkn' and exactly there was an officer sitting in the car, I asked him if I can park overnight, he said 'yes'. There are only two parking spots + 1 for invalid parking, picnic tables, garbage cans. Sweet spot for one night with fire sunset view watching area on the other side of the road.
