There are tons of sites off the main road, but if you keep going to where it turns gravel and start looking for small turn offs you can find some nice private sites. I stayed at the small creek site, cattle guard 59ft away and makes noise all day and night, promptly moved out here the next morning. 1-2 bars att and Verizon, band 12, slow

There's a well maintained dirt road through here with plenty of camping sites. If you go past the Gold run trailhead it gets rougher and narrower, but before that it's easy to navigate without high clearance. Also, gorgeous up here.
