Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I tried to visit this place and there was a bunch of rocks/logs blocking the entrance in a make-shift fence to keep people out :-(
Report Check-InAll the camping spots on this road have been blocked with large rocks and logs.
Report Check-InGreat spot! Lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys etc...) Smooth, well maintained gravel road going in. Two small National Forest property posts on the site. So I’m sure you don’t have to worry about it being private property.
Report Check-InStayed one night here Good spot for getting off the grid No phone service with either att or Verizon buts that’s ok saw lots of deer
Report Check-InWe were considering camping here, but there is absolutely no service. We were able to back in our 42' fifth wheel with plenty of room for a 38' Class C in front of us. You will only be able to back in coming from the South. This site is gravel and it appears it was made to put in a culvert. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but wanted people to know about it. We drove the entire length of 342 with our 5th wheel and didn't have any issues. The GPS coordinates are 43°36'17.6"N 103°30'37.7"W (43.604901, -103.510471)
