Excellent beachfront campground, plenty of shade to camp under the "palapa". Beautiful pool area with umbrellas and a jacuzzi. Restaurant on site, they also have rooms. Bathrooms either showers and good wifi. We paid 18 soles per night to pitch our tents and enjoy the amenities the place has to offer. Highly recommended.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night after crossing the border. Nice pool for the kids to play in. Really good wifi, like best wifi since Colombia. 18 soles /ppn. They are doing a little construction work and one of their buildings is falling into the sea but otherwise excellent private spot.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay, they said it was 20 soles per person but after a little negotiation it was 15 per person (same carp) plus free parking. Bathrooms are clean, wifi it's very fast, pool is not that much but you can use it, food in the restaurant are really good, a little bit expensive but no that much. Full recomended.

we were asked to pay 36 a night here for 2 people in a van, less then 5 meters so not very big. which is a bit much. it's a nice enough place, but I wouldn't call it great. the proximity to the beach is nice, the restaurant is tasty and convenient, as they take orders via WhatsApp and deliver to your spot, the pool is very clean, and the wifi is strong through the whole property. ok to fill water here as the TDS tester measured only 94ppm. I only found 220v here. the toilets don't have seats and are bucket flush which is kind of a bummer and no kitchen. big rig friendly but anything over 3 meters tall and 2 meters wide is going to drag on the branches getting back to the camping area. dog friendly, they have like 6 dogs too, but they stay over by the restaurant and don't come over to the camping area. I don't know who the owner was, but an older gentleman mocked me for not speaking more Spanish. everyone else was very nice.

this place has been reopened for business. 15 SOL pp. all se4vices as described. very friendly and helpful staff.

Report Check-In

This place appears closed, though perhaps just for covid. "Cerrada" sign hung on gate.

Decided to stay more time here due to border still being closed. 18sol for tent sight. 70sol cabin. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. Electricity near campsite restaurant and at banos. Tranquil but can have festive guests on the weekends. Otherwise fantastic and friendly staff. 3sol tuk tuk to town.

Report Check-In

We enjoyed 3 nights here. Nice place, almost on the beach with fine pool. However I don't think the place is really designed for RV's, we stayed in an open spot in front of cabana. They do have a separate place for tents.

The owner Mr León is a very friendly and open minded. Actually I'm camping front of the beach, there is electricity available, restaurant, pool, clean bathrooms, and also strong Wi-Fi. The price per person have been 15 soles, of course negotiable. There is area for big campers too. I have been talking with Mr Leon and he mention there are some traveller's that leave here camper hones for 3 to 6 months to come later to continue traveling around south America. I trust in him too. It's going to be my first night here and I feel happy and safe with a beer and the noise of the ocean. Can't wait for the morning to go swimming in the ocean :) this is a place you have to visit if you come around. Safe travel guys.

I quite liked it, I mean, don't be expecting hot showers and a kitchen but, had a nice swim in the pool, bought racks of ribs in town and cooked them on the parrilla they have pretty much on the beach. Slept like a log, it looks close to the road on map but the sound of the sea drowns out any noise.

Overall I recommend, for the location, barbecue and pool.

Nice place directly on the beach, amazing sunsets, you can park your car directly on the beach next to the “kitchen” (4x4 only due to sand) and wake up watching the waves, a Mototaxi to town is around 3 sol and there is a market for your groceries, the restaurant on site is open every day and the dishes start at 25 sol so we didn’t try, you can swim in the ocean but prepare for some waves and rocks.
PROs: location, clean pool, palapas with shade and hammocks next to the beach, 15 sol pppn, safe place
CONs: apparently a storm or something destroyed some of the infrastructure and no one has fixed it yet, the shower just next to the kitchen has no water, the kitchen is a palapa with fire place, no water, no sink, no fridge, no light, no power, you need a long extension (probably 50 meters) to reach the next power point from the beach parking, you can hear the traffic on the road
So: nice place but the camping area needs some attention

A voir!! ... et à vivre! et on oublie vite le coté un peu en "En travaux" il faut dire que ce lieu est construit par Leon, architecte hors norme de 65 ans (espagnol naturalisé péruvien) avec une équipe de jeunes péruviens bénévoles...

We stayed here for a week. First real camping on the beach that we see in Perú (coming from Chile, so all along the coast, nothing)
We liked it! The restaurant is good, staff nice, very chilled.
Not possible to get in the sea, but swimming pool is a good option, very clean.

Nice big campsite at the beach! Almost everything is made of wood from the ocean. Creative style, nice energy. Still 15s p.p. They have also a very nice and new swimming pool!

Report Check-In

We got stuck in Peru for 2 more weeks waiting for the car paperwork, so landed here camping and well its just beautiful! 15 soles pp for a perfect spot next to the beach! Just a small kitchen on the left part of the beach, but electricity on the campground.

Report Check-In

This place is paradise! With a small rig you get to park by the beach, and in the morning take your shower right on the beach (with some privacy walls) overlooking the ocean. I could stay here for a month, so peaceful.

Report Check-In

We were told that the water level has risen in the past months and it was impossible to camp/park anymore on the designated area on the beach.
We took a private room 55 soles pp!! including breakfast. We were allowed to have the dogs inside the room.

Report Check-In

Relaxing place right by the beach. 15 S pP (~$5). Wifi was free but on/off. The place has a posh beach shack look with several palapas and hammocks. Ocean is warm. Bathrooms and showers a bit far by the parking lot. The place is pet friendly. Laundry service costs 1 S per piece, so not good for washing too many small items. Restaurant was slow, a bit pricey, but good food.
