This is named "yellow jacket lake" but the lake is more like a pond or puddle. lol! big gravel parking area with nice views and lots of solitude. while it is right by the road, the road is not busy at all. also i have decent cell coverage here.

What a wonderful little Gem
A very easy drive on a gravel road that you take a ride on a very well paved looks brand new forest Road
I think almost any vehicle could get here
Report Check-InAs described by others. Large pull out off of NF road. Very smooth road and easy to get to site in any kind of vehicle. Nice and level gravel. The small pond is actually really pretty with the hills behind it and traffic was minimal. Be aware it is tick season and I belief my dog picked up a few ticks here which I had to remove promptly.
Report Check-Ini snap pond just of the road outside of Hines, OR, in the way to Yellowjacket Lake. There's a solid cell signal, good views, and while i was parked there a bunch of houses walked up and stayed drinking from the pond. there are even better views and more turnouts further up the road but the cell signal disappeared pretty quickly.
