Description

New Community camp in Epupa. At the view point, there is no longer camping, but you can walk there for 40,-N$ and enjoy the sunset.
The camp itself is located directly in front of the falls, so if you are sensitive about noise during night bring ear plugs or enough booze.
At the moment the camp is a construction, but possible to park and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Epupa falls.
150,-pppn if you don't negotiate.
Slow Edge reception of MTC.

Latest Check-Ins

Basic camp directly at the Epupa Falls. Simple ablutions with hot showers and flush toilets. Water comes from Kunene River and is quite dirty. Relatively quiet, slow Edge MTC-Signal, 100 NAD pp. Nicer option is the community campsite at the viepoint at 120 NAD pp with a gorgeous view over the falls and the palm oasis.

Report Check-In

Very disappointing, this is not part of the community but private owned , facilities not working, we would not recommend camping here, we paid 100 pp for basically nothing

Report Check-In

Peaceful. You Hear the waterfall and in the evening Lots of frogs. No electricity . No drinksble water. But the Stuff pumped the water of cununene to a topbarrel. Therfore we Had Even Hot shower. We paid 100 Pppn. The epupa waterfall is really nice. But in the case That you have seen Other nice waterfalls i Would spare the long way. It takes you 2 days!

Report Check-In

Very basic and unappealing campsite next to two perfectly developed privately run campsites. It is really a pity that local communities have such trouble to set up and maintain infrastructure.
There is nearly no infrastructure at the campsite. Locals come in the morning to wash in the Kunene. We stayed next door @ Epupa Falls Camp for 150 N$ pp.
