Argentina
Camp along the riverside. Green, shady. Free. Easy accessable. Designated free camping. At the back end hardly traffic noise. Open year-round.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Água do rio super transparente. Gostamos muito
Report Check-InA less busy and better compared to the other free place up north called Villarina.
No services, no toilets and no trash. Please take everything with you!
Excellent for Starlink.
Lovely area to camp at the river. There is a lot of space for campers. Campfires are allowed here. Enjoy this amazing spot and keep it clean. 🙏🏻
Report Check-InVery nice free campsite, loads of space by the river! Lots of stone fire pits (be careful with your embers) and during this time of year, it was quiet just us and another car! Only problem is the woods behind the campsite, probably the worst littering of toilet paper I have ever seen! Crazy, bury your waste!
Report Check-InVery nice spot for camping. Lot of people around during the day but there is plenty enough spaces for everyone. Many families come here to relax and enjoy the rio.
Report Check-InNice walk to the Lago Traful if you cross the bridge and then follow the path along the river.
Only downside of this camp are the issue with shit and toilet paper all around the place.
Report Check-InPerfect place. So much space in the middle of nature. And for free! Awesome.
@pauloejuli
Great place by the river. Not lonely but plenty of space, right on the water and free of charge. No supply, no cellphone.
Report Check-InLugar incrível a beira do rio! Água fresca e super transparente no rio.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot along the clear river with a lot of space. Fire possible and a wonderful view. Calm
Report Check-InA great spot with more flat parking areas than Lago Villarino just up the road. Also perhaps more protected from the wind.
Report Check-InBeautiful, idyllic location. Stayed two nights. No facilities but lots of fast flowing water from the river.
Report Check-InWe stopped here for lunch, but it's a pretty cool place to sleep. Very close to 40, however, the trees camouflage and you can't see the cars on the highway. There are designated places to make a bonfire.
Report Check-InNice place with a lovely river shore. tons of places to set the tent. some firepits. lots of people during high season.
Report Check-InWe stopped here in high season and it was full of people and camping users of all types, many playing music, some with dogs and some with generators. Beautiful place, however, if free is your priority. We moved on.
Report Check-Invery nice ,big and free campsite. we stay with our two dogs and we see other dogs ,but we sing it is not allowed, it is a national Park campsite. please don't let your dogs free. we see a lot of wildlife close the motorhome in the morning.
Report Check-InWonderful place directly on the riverside. Perfect for having a fire and take a freezing bath.
Report Check-InVery nice free camping spot along the river. Much quieter than the other Traful camping. Clean on the camping spots, but not very clean in the forest (lot of toilet papers). We didn’t find much wood in the forest so you need to come with some logs if you want to make a fire. Definitely recommend it for a night.
Report Check-Innice spot on the river. seems a little over loved but this was our first free forest camp in Argentina so maybe they are all similar.
Report Check-InAs described. Amazing in winter too. We were alone here on the last days on June.
Report Check-InExcellent free camping, quite a pretty area with space for lots of tents and campers. We were the only people here on a Wednesday in April. Further from road than other camps as previous posts have said.
Report Check-InBest free campsite along the “Camino de 7 lagos”. At the back end hardly traffic noise. All the others we checked were directly situated at the road. Even at a high season weekend with, enough space for everyone.
Report Check-InGreat free official campground on the border of the river. Plenty of space, fire allowed and very quiet.
Report Check-InThis spot was great. Quite a few campers tucked in along the river, but plenty of space and very quiet. If you aren't looking for facilities, this place is way better than the pay camping across the road. Free official camp spot.
Report Check-InCamp along the riverside. Green, shady. Free. Easy accessable. Designated free camping.
