A guest farm. Close to Vrede. Stayed here last night. Owners are extremely friendly hand helpful. R200pn plus R50pppn. Sleep in a chalet.

We arrived here without booking. Arrived at the place and called the owner (Ina) to learn that the weekend was booked for an Indian cooking course.
We joined the weekend and had a wonderful time. We hiked up the mountain behind the farm. We enjoyed the very good meals.
Paid R4100 for 2 adults, 2 children in two 2-person rooms for 2 nights. This was with all the meals and we could join the course of we wanted.
Cell reception is a bit difficult. Search for a spot with enough reception to call the owners.
lovely farm stay. We stayed in the original farm house which was large and comfortable. There was firewood for the fire, fresh farm milk and delicious rusks. A good restful stop.
