Something not right?

Description

Nice enough lot to stay in. Highway traffic is constant but not bothersome. Close to downtown and highways etc. there are no pull through parking spaces but decent room. Pull in front of the store and then proceed to back corner. Asheville is awesome in so many ways. Can't even begin; come visit!

slept well in my car, 11pm
only one can no RVs
highway traffic not bad
morning birds chirping
wifi working 20mbps all night

Report Check-In

This is our second time staying here. Each time there have been a few other vans and rvs with us which instills a sense of safety. However there have been a few cars with a person just “hanging out” in the parking lot.

Report Check-In

Not the quietest of places, and stays busy for the most part. Haven't had any issues though. Everyone for the most part, keeps to themselves. only real noise is the hwy and accasional siren.

Report Check-In

small parking lot. one big rig in the back and a couple of cars with travellers. super good food as usual. a bit noisy cause right next to a highway but not that bad 😊

Report Check-In

The cops like to come here to... eat? patrol? They arrive around 9am, park next to each other, windows down; facing the front of the restaurant in the back left corner. Saw 3-9(!) of them, don't know how frequent this is or why they come here. Maybe it's only some Sunday brunch type thing

Keep your vehicle clean, and get out before 9:00-9:30. I definitely wouldn't stay more than one night at a time

Well, not the most quiet of places to stay, do to being so close to downtown, traffic noise isn't as bad at night, but still an occasional siren here n there. But for the most part, I like it here. :)

Report Check-In

Good location. Very quiet lot with some freeway noise. Probably not a good place for bigger rigs. Can connect to WiFi from the lot.

Report Check-In

Small lot but pretty quiet and plenty of other campers. Arrived late and there was a guy wandering the lot who asked me for a cigarette or a ride but was friendly and disappeared when i declined. I had breakfast in the morning, nice staff.

Report Check-In

Fairly small parking lot. I counted 6 other camper and a few people sleeping in their cars. Parking lot was quiet but a good deal of road noise.

Report Check-In

safe spot. there were 6 other vans and trailers so I felt safe parking there with our little community of vandwellers. I slept in until 8am and had no issues. big empty grass lot next to it, perfect to let your pets out to go potty.

Report Check-In

over a dozen spent the night. around 1AM a group of homeless loudly yelling about which one stole something from the other entered the lot and went into the woods behind Cracker Barrel where they presumably live. it is a convenient location, but a trailer would be difficult to maneuver, and likely no space unless arriving early as we all spread out, leaving only one or two adjacent parking spaces available.

Slept just fine here, like in every CB !

Report Check-In

Very quiet, I woke up and there were about 8-9 vans and another carcamper there. I was so surprised and honestly felt really safe considering the amount of people there ended up being. I look forward to upgrading to a van but for now I remain in a car :)

Great CB, as mentioned before. I found it quiet, and spacious. good wifi as well an A-level cracker barrel

Report Check-In

Easy access no problem parking highway and sirens get loudish but still a good place to park. One night stay with about 6 other vans and a few cars in the lot would definitely stay again if in the area

Report Check-In

1 mile from downtown Asheville. Very loud due to road noise from highway. There is also a concentration of homeless folks on this side of town. Some of them camp in the adjacent overgrowth.

I usually don’t stay at an establishment more than 1 night but this Cracker Barrel is incredibly chill. Please buy something if you plan on stopping here since management is nice enough to keep letting travelers park. I was joined both nights by a couple of vans & fancy sprinters . Very quiet, some road noise. Felt very safe

Report Check-In

As above. Stayed 2 nights. Had supper (excellent) there the first night and asked about parking. They were happy to have us. Even gave some visitor information. Great place to stay!

Report Check-In

nice quiet place. Slept like a muthafuc*** baby.

Nice & Quiet. We arrived around midnight and there was 4 other vans and an RV there. No one bothered us; easy night.

Report Check-In

Family style restaurant which, according to an employee at this specific location, encourages RVers to stay the night in their parking lot.

No RV designated parking spaces so bigger units will want to check the satellite map view before heading into this place.

It’s possible to park a big right parallel IF it’s not a crowded evening. Again, check the satellite map first.

Report Check-In

Got in around 7pm and there were already 3 other vans and a small RV. Good place to stay while exploring Asheville. Only a 5 min drive into town to some of the best breweries and restaurants.

A bit of highway noise, but not the worst ever.

Report Check-In

Stayed for two nights while seeing Asheville. About five other RVs, quiet and good breakfast in the morning pays the rent. Nicer and feels safer than the CB on the west side of town.

Report Check-In

Ate dinner and got the okay from the manager - no problem at all.. Very friendly staff. Tip them well!

Report Check-In

Awesome place to park. We parked for two nights and were not bothered. Tons of other rv’s and Van lifers use the spot, so plan to get there earlier in the evening. However there always seemed like enough space for everyone. And a classic country breakfast in the morning!

Report Check-In

Great spot on the side for vans/RVs to park for the night. Near the highway but overall it’s pretty quiet!

Report Check-In

Great spot. No one bothered us at night. We even woke up to some southern breakfast. It did seem like the bigger RVs are gonna kill it for the smaller vans that fit on a regular spot. But oh well. Great spot for sure. Slept 1 night. Wahoooooo
