Huge area, seams to be a Park, BBQ parrillas, toilets, cold shower, small beach, sunset stunning... Stayed 2 incredible days, very quiet, a lot of parrots. 2 tiny shops round the corner on the main road.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Stayed three nights with campervan, during low season. Toilets closed. Tap water and showers working.
Mostly quiet with few locals passing by. Except, Sunday afternoon/evening was really busy with locals. All very friendly.
We arrived in the afternoon and stayed until the next morning. In the evening, there were a few people but we were the only ones staying overnight. Very quiet spot, a bit of trash, toilet and shower not the best but it’s free, directly at the sea and a beautiful sunset!
Report Check-InWe spent one night with a lot of other campers, toilets, water and very security.
Report Check-InNice place. Big lawn area, where you can park even though it says that camping is not allowed. We were here in the summer and a Saturday, there were a lot of locals that camped out here too. At night, it was very quiet.
Report Check-InVery nice place to camp with clean toilets and two cold showers. Theres a sign which says camping is just allowed from december to april but I dont know if they care.
The neighbourhood is very nice - they talked to us and told us if we need some help we just can knock on their door. Next to the camping place at „Av. Puerto“ there are small kiosks and a small restaurant. There is also a nice parc next to this avenue.
Highly recommended :-)
Still a nice place to camp. Very quiet during the day; overnight there were a few families in tents and the usual bunch of kids with a huge speaker, churning out the same old sh!t music at 3am and 5am. Locals all camp where the grills and benches are; we stayed 500m further along where it's just grass and trees. The signs say camping is permitted Dec-April but I can't imagine it being a problem at other times. Also (contrary to an earlier post) big rigs would be totally fine here, there's loads of room!!
Report Check-InLovely riverside park with amazing sunset. tables are there , seemed very safe. quiet town. we stayed 1 night
Report Check-InLovely and very quiet spot amongst the trees on the edge of the water. Picnic tables, grills etc. Toilets looked locked but didn’t check. Can confirm that sunset was absolutely gorgeous here.
Only negative was that a million mosquitoes appeared as soon as it got dark.
Lovely place Better than some campgrounds you have to pay for. The area is relatively quiet even on weekends.
Report Check-InSpend 2 quite nights! sun down is absolutely stunning... toilets clean, cold shower, BBQ parrilas... great spot
Report Check-In We were traveling 2 up and got off the ferry late and then rode to the marked spot. As it was Easter there were a few locals around but nothing extreme. We set up camp right under some trees on the beach.....we didnt take any side tracks. Overall it was a great camp; there was some operational noise from the nearby plant and a few noisy motorbikes late at night but we felt safe and slept. There are some sandy patches so on a bike becareful. We woke to the sound of many parrots and the man across the road with the food van came and said hi.....he was great. We noticed as we left some " no camping" signs but no one seemed to care and the police drove past numerous times but said nothing.
Please keep the area clean and no Land Mines left ☺ ( toilet paper)
really nice place. in winter we are alone, incredible sunset from the camping spot. toilet are working, there is water. there is place also for big rig.
Report Check-InWe found a really nice and quiet spot close-by on the river under some trees with lots of shade and a few local campers dotted around (-33.915861, -58.415388).
Report Check-InVery nice place, clean banõs and showers. Got very busy in the evening mostly with families having BBQ. We had some noisy teenagers who kept us up all night. Further north along the camping area is quieter, more shaded and less sandy.
Report Check-Inwe stayed here one night for a stop over. There are toilets here but bad and unusable.
Report Check-Inquiet, as now one is here. parillas, clean bano, outdoorshowers cold, two sinks for washing. tourist office in conchillas confirmed that we can stay here. during the week free internet at the library in conchillas (7 km away). conchillas old "english" houses are worth a visit
Report Check-InNeat little spot tucked away in the bush. Take the 21 South then turn west on Minas road. Pass domingo ordonana street and take a left down a grassy road. Then take a left where the path splits towards the lake. Great spot, probably not good for big rigs as it's hard to turn around. There are multiple paths you can drive around here but we only explored a few
