Something not right?

Description

Small grassy clearing at the end of a well maintained national forest road. Could fit bigger rigs, but might be hard to level and/or turnaround, so perhaps ideal for smaller setups.

Only visitor was a ranger who stopped by in the early evening to check in and confirmed that this was a valid campsite. Max stay is 14 days.

Some Verizon 4G service here, but can be unreliable.

There's also some pulloffs along the way into this site which would also work.

Latest Check-Ins

Nice clearing with fire ring at the end of a dirt road. Very secluded and peaceful. No other visitors for the entire day.

Report Check-In

We stopped just before the gate on the main dirt entrance road. At the beginning of the left fork right before the bridge there is a large flat pull out with a fire ring. Decent Verizon signal. Easy stop for one night.

Report Check-In

Open field at end of forest road. Sun for solar charging. Trails peter out quickly, might think twice about hiking during hunting season. Well maintained gravel road. Room to turn larger rig. Saw 4 cars during 2 night stay. Each one turned around once saw site was occupied. 2 bars LTE ATT.

Report Check-In

Longer road than expected. Nice quiet site. Fire ring and some deadfall. No visitors other than some sweet pups on a walk with their humans.

Report Check-In

Pleasant small campsite at the end if a forest road. Not level, but close enough. As others have mentioned, there’s minimal service here with Verizon (and very marginal with T-Mobile).

Report Check-In

stayed here two nights. the first, we went left at the fork and stayed at a pull off. The road dead ends. We walked up to the top of the hill for a nice view. Only one truck drive up in the morning, saw us, and turned around. The second night we went right and stayed in the grassy area that others have posted. nice open space with room for a few vehicles. Its spring, so the grass is dead and flat.

Report Check-In

We pulled in this place with a converted shuttle bus and trailer. As the previous visitor suggested we had some trouble getting level but we were able to maneuver around fairly easily. We found a creek to the left as you approach and used this water for laundry and washing dishes. No visitors except for a car one afternoon that turned around once they saw us and a large moose early in the morning! There are a number of turn offs on this road and the other road at the fork in the road but the dead end suggested by the previous poster(and our picture) was the nicest spot. We moved down the road on our second night because we could not get our rig leveled for good water flow.
