Really nice, up high in the grasslands. Open and very well maintained, clean and stocked outhouses. Beautiful natural pools and a built one, water at the perfect temperature. No other campers this time of year. Access road from Hogback road in great gravel condition. No cell service.

Stayed two nights at campsite 3 along Bond Creek. This area is the furthest from the spring but offers more solitude. Campsites 22-26 were gated and closed, perhaps early in the season that area is muddy.

There are two undeveloped and one developed pool. Campground was moderately busy but still easy to find time in the pools. Aspen were not leafed out yet but on the plus side no bugs!

Nice free camping by the hot springs. Decent number of campers, but not many using the springs?

Beautiful destination. Bring your citronella candles and leave it cleaner than you found it. We hiked toward Warner Mountain before enjoying the hot springs. Roads would be good for mountain bikes as well. Tip – road from French Glen exceptionally wash board and dusty so be prepared to go slow.
