We stayed one night with no issue. There is lots of rubbish around, no wonder the locals don’t like us here! Pick up after yourself, and if you see some garbage take a couple minutes to clean up. We weren’t woken up by anyone, but one person honked their horn aggressively around 9:30am. (probably the neighbour who calls MTO)

This place should be marked closed. Neighbours call MTO when anyone stays overnight. MTO state’s signage will be put up saying no overnight camping. Tones of trash and broken bottles laying around. Seems to be a popular place to party.

No signs indicating that we can’t park/sleep here. We have a camper Van 21feet long. At around 8h00 am a worker for MTO Sudbury knocked on our door: can’t camp here. It was a resident of the neighbourhood that called the MTO. They said we didn’t do anything wrong they simply don’t want people sleeping here and we had to leave or they would call the cops.

There was a dodge van beside us that slept there also, a little less recognizable than us (: and they didn’t get asked to leave.

So if you’re a small véhicule you may sleep here at your own awakening risks.

Had a great stay here. Water was so nice to swim in last night and this morning. Yes the highway is loud but the peacefulness of the lake overrides the noise.

Feels quite secluded. One other van was parked but i didn't stay the night

Report Check-In

MTO asked us to leave saying "This ain't a campsite".

Nous avons bien dormi mais une employée du MTO est venu nous demander de quitter le site à 7h50. Il y avait deux overlanders.

Busy place during the day with people swimming, but empty during the night.
Very good spot for 1 night. We don’t hear too much the big road just close.
Just one bad point : lot of mosquitos !

Very nice spot next to a little grove of trees at the water’s edge. It seems to be a popular swimming spot for local folks. It’s a little busy on a hot summer day.

Report Check-In

Grand central for swimmers, so very difficult to get a spot. Conservation officer care by and talked with me and indicated that though nobody would ask us to leave, it is not technically legal to overnight here.

Medium size lot by the exit. Steps from Silver Lake, cristal clear water and beautiful. Only cavia, you hear the highway, but perfect for 1 night. Thanks Jerry for the spot.
