Single camping spot on route 526 off hwy 44. Down a well maintained dirt road but has a tight u-turn that trailers or RVs could not make, great for vans or class Bs though. Hill could get muddy if it rains. Road noise from 44 but really not that bad. Right next to Carter creek. Was a little buggy in July.

This was a perfect spot for an overnight camp. Tight turns down to the spot, would not recommend if towing or anything larger than a van. The creek nearby creates an all night water rapids sound. Very quiet.
Report Check-InGot here about 4:30pm. It was empty and peaceful. As it has been described, there is vehicle noise from Hwy 44, but it is tolerable. Lots of birds chirping and the river sound is nice. There are lots of pine trees around to almost completely hide the spot.
There is a large rock fire pit and although the area near the fire pit is not actually level, it is still satisfactory for parking on.
