Lovely spot, had a great night. A few fishermans left with the sunset, two arrived at 8 in the morning but no one said anything.

Report Check-In

As described. Nice view of the water. Quiet and flat

Report Check-In

Stayed for one night, some locals here fishing but generally very quiet night. Mostly flat spots, though the driveway down to the parking is narrow it wouldn't be suitable for very big rigs. We are in a leisure travel and it was perfectly fine.

Report Check-In

Great quiet place by the lake to spend the night. Washrooms closed at 6pm though. More washrooms in parks nearby.

Great place to spend the night. Plenty of parking. The Beavermead campground was under construction. Awesome bike path and great green area to relax. Some noise due to close road but seen a lot worst.

Report Check-In

As others said this is a quiet out of the way lot. Lots of people during the day but after dark we were alone. A couple of cars drove in later in the evening but did not stay long. The roadway into the lot is deceiving as it is quite narrow and at first we thought it was a bicycle path. Fortunately a car was coming out so we knew we were in the right place.

Joli parc. L’entrée n’est pas évidente. À côté du petit pont, rue Maria.

Pulled in here around 7pm, there were a fews older guy's having coffee. Two more cars showed around 9 and midnight. Overall a good night for a stop over....very quiet. We are in 24ft campervan not a huge parking lot but adequate.

Report Check-In

A nice place to stay. Busy during the day with people cycling, walking fishing etc. It wasn't until about an hour after dark before all was quiet. A peaceful night though without anyone checking up. There wasn't anyone in the lock keeper's house but the washroom was open.

Report Check-In

ATTENTION
I think the parking is part of the Park Canada lock. And camping is not allowed in Park Canada elsewhere than in designated campgrounds. Therefore you might get evicted during the night.

Since we were in early May, the campgrounds are not open yet so we decided to take a chance and spend the night. We slept well the whole night. Really quiet place.

Report Check-In

I drove through Beavermead park but decided it didn't seem private enough. There were a few vehicles parked there but no vans or RVs. This spot seems way better. No one can see you from the road.

There was one person that drove in at around midnight but didn't stay. I didn't see what that was about. The spot was quiet the whole night.

There were several fisherman right at the crack of dawn.
