Latest Check-Ins

We stopped here during the day for a nice hike, and double-checked the rules as to whether or not it's allowed to park overnight (since there's a sign saying park closed 11pm-5am). Found out that, according to Bylaw n°11M2019, this applies to all parks in Calgary, and extends to their parking lots (no car can stay overnight). So police could fine you.
We decided to stay somewhere else.

nice, quiet, flat with cell service.
an ambulance flashing lights came in right when the park closed and blipped its siren. we weren't sure if it was trying to get us and the couple other vans out. we weren't asked to move.

Report Check-In

Leveled parking lot, a few RVs parked around. No gate at the entrance. If you want a bathroom, there’s one at the other Nose Hill parking lot further up the road.

Was not disturbed, quiet night.

I love this spot. Surprisingly quiet at night. Great park.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet spot on the side of a very passing road. There was a couple of cars coming and going from the parking but didn’t get disturbed.

Report Check-In

As described, parking lot between the highway and a big hill. Lots of locals park for an hour or so to walk their dogs or go biking on the trails. Only 3 other vehicles besides myself overnight. Sign says the park is open 5 am to 11 pm. But does not say not to park overnight and there's no gate. I stayed all morning to reorganize while I charged my portable solar panels. No problems.
