Very cool spot and secluded. Highly recommend 4WD to get down to the creek. Remains of past campsites all over the place such as make shift fireplaces. It’s on a slope, but the land levels out the further down you go towards the creek. It’s along the CDT and after a few days staying down here haven’t seen a single hiker come through. Maybe it’s just early in the season (May). Stream below has a slow flow but were able to filter water for drinking.
Report Check-InPulled in here with my 2wd Sprinter but did not stay, didn’t want to risk going over a couple of big rocks on the path in, requires high clearance
(I continued up 15 to Cherry Creek Campground 3 miles further north and found a delightful and easily navigable campground. It was free clean and easy access. YAY
