Nice small (and free) space with pit toilet and picnic tables. Looks like a couple of the logging workers are temporarily living here in tarp tents. Right by the river, doesn’t really get the noise from the road.

McBride is 10min drive down the road with laundry and wifi at visitor centre or personal recommendation: the Welcome Home Cafe. Super cute vibe and decent coffee and sandwiches.

Don't follow google maps! It will have you turn onto the wrong road. The right road is south of the river. Easy drive in. Clean pit toilet with toilet paper. About 8 variously-sized sites, one of which would work for a big rig. Very popular! We had a full house. Would love to have stayed longer but the smoke rolled in so we rolled out.

This is a beautiful spot. Great road in, ignore "no trespassing" signs they don't apply to the forestry road. Room for all size of RVs (4-5) plus tents, pit toilet (bring your own TP), garbage bins. Please don't leave garbage in fire pits. River is fast moving. No mosquitoes. One Bar service sites are level

This is probably my favorite Rec Site. beautiful location. Clean. Great fishing. Later in the summer, you can see the salmon spawn. I didn't find the mosquitoes that bad in mid-July.

Flat area along the river, suitable for 4-5 RVs. Shaded and not spots. All have tables and fire rings, however, we were in fire ban times.
One pit toilet available, we didn’t use, so can’t report the conditions. Some dust from the close-by unsaved road: vehicles are driving pretty fast. Very quite by night.
Middle June: mosquitos pretty annoying.

Keep it like this!
Mosquitoes still moderate.

Just enter the forest road and drive upstream. Big rig no problem.

Beautiful and restful. Lots of tenting company, there were 5 tents. three other motor units and still space to share.

A pleasant treat in the wilderness with a lovely sounding stream.

Mosquitos we're very light

Pretty little spot. Just under 1 km from the highway. There’s a short recreation trail on the opposite of the river to a small set of falls. You have to walk or drive out to the highway bridge to access the trail. Definitely some mosquitos but it’s not awful. Don’t leave anything outside though. A bear munched on my hygiene bag while I was out for a morning jog and I was gone only an hour.

Report Check-In

The road is well-maintained, potholes begin around the 1km mark on the road. Was pretty busy on a weekday evening so if you're looking for seclusion continue up the road until you find a pull off.
