Gunnison KOA Journey | Established Campground

Nice area with good sized rv spots and have sun shelters for tent spots. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Very nice campground store and clean bathrooms/showers. Would visit here again.

Pretty peaceful place. Some fun game spots for kids. Didn't notice the airport too much. Short drive from town. Wifi was not particularly useable at the time.

This KOA is very nice. Staff is very friendly. Grounds are well kept. It is right next to the Gunnison Air Port, but the air traffic doesn't run all night. Very quiet. They do sell firewood. The showers are nice and clean, and there is a laundry and TV room next to the showers. I paid $34 for one night.

$32/night for a tent site. Showers are hot and clean, which is a huge plus. The grass in a lot of the tent sites was pretty damp so just be prepared for that or talk to the office and see if you can switch to a different spot if they have the availability. The spots are pretty close together. Laundry is $1.75 to wash and $.75 to dry. The tent spots are level. The WiFi is decent. It was a good spot for us to shower, do laundry, and organize our gear for a night. There are donkeys, goats, and pigs which is kinda neat. The campground is close to a City Market, Walmart, and gas stations in Gunnison.

Established RV park/campsite. They have a petting zoo (!), showers, campfire, and a little kitchen. Grass everywhere. Cabins are also available. Very clean and close to the town of Gunnison.
