Great spot. We had no issues camping here. The train did wake me up throughout the night as I’m easily awoken. So maybe not the best if you need great sleep or use some noise blockersReport Check-In
Vue sur le lac Reed, facile à trouver et y prendre sa place. Train et autoroute à proximité. Moto friendly.Report Check-In
nous y sommes rendu, bel endroit beaucoup d'espace mais des fortes odeurs de soufre.
on a continué jusqu'à Herbert sport center à Herbert à 15 min. plus loin.Report Check-In
Nice rest area by the Reed Lake. Enough place for a lot of cars and van. Very close to the highway, so expect some noise, and the train always gives a loud whistle when it passes this exact spot. But outside of this, perfect for a night!
Otherwise, we slept there yesterday and a sport car came by around 11:00 pm with loud music playing. It parked close to the watchtower. This morning, when we woke up, there was a bunch of garbage, old clothes and plastic bottle at the exact spot where it was parked. People like that will make sure we can’t park anywhere anymore so please, do you part and pick up your trash!
Arrived a few hours ago, dog and kid played and ran, beautiful wide area right next to the water. Eye sighting tower made of wood. Near a train rail so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper... For my part I’d rather hear a train than people. Hopefully nobody comes during the night as it is pretty exposed from the highway. Will update in the morning.Report Check-In
Another vehicle behind us near the tower
Nice place great view with the full moon reflecting on the lake. Like others two train since we arrived at 19:30, highway a little bit noisy but I’ve seen worst.
much too close to the trains for me it did Blair all night and they do seem to honk as soon as they come close to the camping site the other is down the road we're much betterReport Check-In
I parked near the observation structure. The area is very flat and safe. I did not find the traffic or the train very noisy at all. I slept very wellReport Check-In
We spent the night here, was beautiful and saw wildlife, but train horns throughout the night. Too many interruptions of sleepReport Check-In
Great spot over looking the lake. we drove and parked our TV trailer directly in front of the lookout tower over looking the lake. No issues. not alot of traffic noise, but there was some. train made some noise but didn't bother us at all.Report Check-In
Great place for one night stop. Great view and had a table, but trains passing non stop during the night.Report Check-In
Close to the highway, but in front of the lake, beautiful view! No washroom.Report Check-In
A bird lookout tower
Not far off the highway
Can hear traffic and trains
No signs re overnight stay
Our gps was confused coming in from the east, it sent us up a road across the highway and into a farmer’s field, better to access from the eastbound lanes of the trans Canada
Beautiful spot to stop for lunch! It’s very exposed for overnight parking but I doubt there would be any trouble.Report Check-In
Good view but rather load large trucks and trains driving by non stop. It was okay for one night.Report Check-In
really nice place as described just right beside the lake. city worker came in the morning, no mention to anyone, we were 3 rv/vans for the night. city of Morse info's on a panel but nothing about overnight stay. near the hwy yes near the train yes but with the lake...make your choice 😉 iReport Check-In
