very clean and quiet. nicest rest stop we have visited.

Report Check-In

Rest area off I84. Not bad for an overnight; not too loud despite many big trucks. Inside facilities are disgusting, though.

Report Check-In

Stayed here with no issues. A couple truck campers and vans overnight. The semi truck parking area was full and a couple truckers parked in the car area overnight. The sign inside notes you're allowed to stay for 8 connective hours, but no one was checking.

This is a nice, clean rest area, well occupied on the truck side, but lightly visited on the auto side. We considered it, but moved on due to terrible Verizon service (cell signal appeared okay, but the internet connection was unusable). Sites further north are closer or have better line of sight to cell towers and seemed to have better service.

Report Check-In

I got my first knock here.
The state trooper that knocked, said that they got a complaint that I was going around looking into other people's cars.
The trooper had me give him ID, then he asked me what I doing here, then he asked me exactly what I was doing to rest, the trooper then wanted to know where I was going and what I do for a living, then the trooper went back to asking me what I was doing here for the fourth time (resting is not an acceptable answer for some reason). The trooper seen I had a dash cam recording him, the trooper then left in a New York minute. I went back and reviewed my camera footage to see who or why the cops were called on me, I had the rest stop to myself until the trooper showed up. The only person I seen looking into other peoples cars was the trooper looking into mine before he knocked, I wasn’t bothered anymore after that.

Rest area on I 84W. cars sre separated ftom trailer truck parking with trees. Clean rest rooms. we didn't stay overnight here, but it would have been better than Box Elder CG.

Report Check-In

Lots of parking. Truck engines running but earplugs work. Paved and level, clean area, trash cans, lighted and safe.
Easy on and off the freeway.

Quiet rest area! Perfect spot to pull over for a night

Report Check-In

I felt very safe here. Quiet, well lit, and plenty of spaces to spread out. There is service but it's not very good. After a long drive, I appreciated how easy this was to get to off of the highway.

Report Check-In

OK place to stop for the night.
Noise from the semis.
Toilets are working.

If you're looking for just a place to sleep, this rest area felt safe, and I had no issues sleeping here. Has clean bathrooms and a place for dogs to do their business as well. I stayed on the Eastbound side.

Report Check-In

Clean, lit rest area for big rigs, RVs, and tiny cars. We slept here overnight in our campervan with no problems. Bathrooms with running water. Vending machine inside rest stop. Interesting signs about the giant (dried-up) Lake Bonneville that used to be here, which was the largest lake in North America. Also, cool sign about the protected Ferruginous Hawk that nests in this area.
