Latest Check-Ins

Since the last check-in, there was a large forest fire that included the trees at the campground and most of the side of the mountain. Low shrubbery is growing back, campground still usable (picnic tables aren’t charred, ground isn’t black and dirty). Outhouse still standing. I only have 1-2 bars of Telus reception, but starlink works great. My van did fine (transit 350HD AWD) as the roads were dry. Only 2 places to turn around, single vehicle road width with steep bank on the one side

2 picnic tables and a pit toilet were at this location. we tent camped here, and it was very quiet, just one group came up the roads.

this seems to be a mountain bike and dirt bike trail system.

Wow! Stunning views of valley and mountains- two picnic tables - pit toilet - primitive fire ring - windy steep switchback - 2 wheel will make it if dry - 4WD and clearance if wet - well worth the trek! The was damaged at one point - a little sketchy

Beautiful spot with a great view of the valley below. Outhouse, trash can, recycling bin. Two picnic tables with a single fire pit. Road is very manageable to access with 2WD though might be a different story if wet as there's a final steep hill before getting to the spot.

Could hear the train and some highway noises from the picnic table but not enough to wake us in our tent.

Incredible view! I made it up easily with my 2WD Sprinter. There were some locals that came by between my van and the view to take photos a few different times. Really quiet otherwise. Definitely some mosquitos.

One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed.

Great spot, amazing view. Totally worth the extra 20 minutes of driving from the main road. It’s a well maintained dirt road. In my opinion a 2WD car could make it easily if it’s dry. We were in an AWD Ford Transit. There are some low relatively flexible branches over the road, we’re 10 feet tall and had no issues. It’s a narrow one lane road with soft shoulders…so if you meet another vehicle coming or going it’ll take a little creative problem solving. Great T-mobile service (one to two cars 5G).
