Free public parking lot a few minutes' walk from Main St and Middlebury Falls. Restaurants nearby. Most of the lot is 3-hr parking, but there's a row of spots near a grassy hill with signs designating them as overnight parking. Regular size parking spots in the overnight area, so no big rigs. In the center of town, but quiet once the town goes to sleep. Good for one night.
Great stay! Comments are still accurate - there are overnight parking spots, porta potty, and great restaurants to walk to! The overnight parking spots are limited - but others parked overnight in the other spots and there seemed to be no issue. There’s a river view on one side. Bridge traffic and nightlife noise died off after 10 PM. Slept well, felt safe! Would not recommend for larger RV’s or towing RV’s, but perfect for my RV van!
Report Check-InGreat spot! No one bothered us, very quiet and porta potty just above in upper day lot. Otter Creek Bakery a 2 minute walk away and Middlebury campus a few minutes farther. We enjoyed a morning walk thru the beautiful campus.
