HIGH CLEARANCE NEEDED. old mining road turned ATV road. amazing views of the valley and surrounding mountains. decently large site that can accommodate multiple tents and a couple vehicles.

I wouldn't camp here personally. Very busy with ATV tours. Road is fine up, some ruts but it's really not bad, no mud on my visit. Can also be pretty tight if you're wider then a standard van. 5 bars at&t with 5g at the spot. I camped elsewhere along the trail as there are lots of other places where no one will bug you. Windy, no bugs and a beautiful view though! The locals also had a free BBQ by lake Otto today on 4th of July! I had a great experience here.
Report Check-InTried to go up. Got about 900m to the spot and it was incredibly muddy and we had no traction so backed out. We are in a 4x4 sprinter
Report Check-Inwindy hilltop. need good tires and clearance. ATV tours frequent the area until midnight. good views.
