Description

Pole Creek Rd. forms a loop connecting to US Hwy 16 both at the north and the south end. This area is just in from the south connection to Hwy 16. It is a large open meadow with firepits along the outer edges just on the tree line. Multiple places to camp. We chose to be out in the open field for more sun.

Latest Check-Ins

As described by the two others. LARGE loop around a large meadow. Probably 12/15 trailers & RV’s all spread out and room for more. Some spots have fire rings. Some quads driving around during the day, but quiet at night. I had unobstructed Starlink service. Faster in the morning, but was able to work, zoom & Wi-Fi call uninterrupted all day and stream something to watch at night. Lots of flies, due to open range. I heard a herd of cows the morning after I arrived, but they never came up the road where the rigs are and never heard them again. 1/2 mile off Hwy 16. Would stay here again.

Report Check-In

This place is wonderful, big grassy patch, with fire spot, full sunshine, amazing view on the mountain and just a little drive on the gravel via the Hwy 16.
When we were there, just a little bit of snow was left in one small area just before the grassy patch in the road.
So if you come earlier, maybe the road will be in snow
