Wonderful free site. We had the official camping area to ourselves. 2 very clean and well stocked pit toilets (esp for the late date in the season!) lots of dispersed spots with fire rings. Super quiet this time of year.

Beautiful free campground right on the water. Many spots to choose from, each with picnic table & fire ring. vault toilets were clean & stocked. Not too busy, but the boat ramp hadn't yet opened for season. If coming from the south, you will be on a dirt road for 12 or so miles, but it is in very good condition.
I did overhear some campers talking about how this will become a paid campground next year so do your research!
No TMobile service.

Second time here. Stayed 6 days. The weekend was super busy, but during the week it was very quiet. Vault toilets still VERY clean and stocked with paper.

What a hidden gem. Doesn't appear to have a fee.

Great free camping with boat ramp. CO Wildlife on site for boaters only. We talked to the Wildlife Ranger and said they don't monitor the campground, just the boats and water. We did see a police officer at least once a day driving through. The campsites are spaced out well, with tables and fire rings. There are vault toilets that are clean. A guy came by on friday and cleaned them and stocked with toilet paper. I think the trash bins are locked during the week, bc they we locked when we got there, but waste management came by fri and unlocked them. We stayed on site 15A which seemed to be awesome, until traffic. This site is right on the path...so we got super dusty. People do camp and park on the lake itself. Wildlife prefers we didn't but they don't enforce. Same with swimming, it should be a no contact lake, but No Swimming is not on the rules board, so they don't enforce that either (said another ranger). The rangers are only there during boating season, so if you camp between Oct and May you'll likely never see them. Granby is the closet town for groceries and laundry.
