Something not right?

Description

Really great campground: pretty location right on the river, hot showers, restrooms, fire pits, picnic bench at each site. Looked like all tent sites/only site #5 has an electrical hookup (that site is $25/night). Room for big rigs. Be warned that they take the 5 miles per hour rule VERY SERIOUSLY. We drove in at about 10 and corrected to 5 when the assistant camp host screamed at us. Then they drove all the way to our site to yell at us more.

Great little spot. Super quiet, stayed here two nights and there are only three other campers on the whole campground. It’s self check in for $15.00 a night, nice warm showers that cost $2 for about 8 mins. I got to watch the seals early this morning which was awesome. I had one bar of Verizon, no bars on GoogleFi, the Verizon was good enough for FaceTime so I’m cool with it. I’ll definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Oregon. Love this spot.

Yep, hosts are super irritating, crowed at us fir not turning off the bathroom lights. Why not get a sensor or timer for 3 bucks? Also just to emphasize showers are not included in the price so knocks it down a notch. I'd go up to the USFS sites. Hosts kill this place for us.

Pretty nice little campground with reasonable price $15/night. Clean bathrooms (both with running water and Porto-potties) and showers. Fire ring and picnic tables no electric. Next to river. Recommended.

Fourth time visiting here. love it. Generous sized sites. Some very large indeed. Sites are first come, first served basis. Drive the length of the campground before you grab one. Park and walk back to the station to pay. $15/night, but the one site with electrical hookup is $25/night. (I think it's site #5, near the entrance).
Hot showers, $2 in quarters a go; you'll need to bring your own quarters coz no means to get quarters at campsite.
Beware of roaming thieves who occasionally drive thru at night looking for things like portable generators left unsecured. Lock everything up when you leave your campsite.
Excellent trails, and a huge stoney riverbank.
Reasonably good AT&T coverage, but do try your phone at the site of your choice before registering. Coverage seems to vary as you move around the campground.
Exactly 10 minutes to drive to or from Gold Beach where you have a choice of supermarkets, propane filling, gas stations, restaurants, laundromat, barber, bakeries and lots more.

Stayed at this campground for about a week in a river front spot. Affordable at $15 a night or $95 for an entire week. It’s a nice, spacious campground and everyone was so friendly. Definitely got packed over the weekend. Showers are $2 for about 8-10 minutes depending on the shower you choose. The camp host stopped us from filling our tank on our tiny camper, claiming that there’s a drought and there’s signs up saying so. Only 5 gallon jugs can be filled. We checked the campgrounds over 4 times and found no such sign, but the camp host and assistant camp host washed their vehicles and watered grass during our stay so it looks like it’s only a problem if you’re not a permanent member of the grounds.

Amazing little campground. We got a river front site and the view was lovely. Very quiet campground. You do have to pay for showers.

Visited this campground to get a shower. It is tidy and quiet, and looks well managed. Non-guests can purchase a shower, (bring $2 in quarters) for what felt like 8-10 minutes!

$15 a night for tent or rv, there’s one site that has power and water $25 night. There’s showers they cost $2 to use, there’s water throughout the campground. Right on the river. They sale ice and fire wood. Clean campground. About 20 minutes from Gold Beach. Cell coverage 1-2 bars on Verizon no metro, Us cellular one bar sometimes. We don’t have a booster so coverage might be better if you have one. Good fishing and swimming.

Great campground. We’ve stayed here before. Nice, sizable campsites with fire rings and tables. Several hookup sites and several tent sites. Clean bathrooms. Strict leash policy for dogs. They don’t allow anyone in after 10:00pm, even if you try to call and pay ahead of time and tell them you can’t get there before 10:00, which we find to be a bummer. It’s about 7 miles in from the coast but is right along the Rogue River. They sell wood for campfires.

Really great campground: pretty location right on the river, hot showers, restrooms, fire pits. Looked like all tent sites / no-hookups but plenty of big rigs were there as well. Be warned that they take the 5 miles an hour rule VERY SERIOUSLY. We drove in at about 10 and corrected to 5 when the assistant camp host screamed at us. Then they drove all the way to our site to yell at us more.
