Police officer came to tell us that we cannot camp here anymore for the night! The place was left a mess and this is a protected area so no more camping is allowed.
Report Check-InNice place to spend a few hours by the water. We were about to have a snack and leave again for Cape Breton when a friendly ranger came by telling us we are not allowed to stay for the night. We knew that thanks to the sign "no camping". He asked us to spread the word so here we are. No overnight stay allowed here
Report Check-InSmall secluded area, exactly as described. Great for a Camper truck/van. We slept one night and did not get disturbed once. Relaxing evening, perfect view of the water and stars. Amazing view of the sunrise in the morning. We would definitely stay here again. Not sure we would recommend for tenting (not very level) or campers; otherwise, you will enjoy this location. :)
Report Check-InStayed one night tent camping. One other van was present. Nice place with access to water for cleaning. No facilities. Would stay again.
Report Check-InNice little spot. We would have stayed but wanted to get more driving done so carried on. Not super level ground but doable. Quite secluded.
Report Check-InAs described, small boat launch (maybe only for kayak as very difficult to lower boat in deeper water). Don't try to level yourself on gravel area you will only waste time, better use the grass.
Report Check-InJust past linwood campground about a mile, on gravel road, on the LH side is a track leading to a boat launch. Small area to park, for van or small trailer. Suggest you walk down and look before you commit to driving down.
No facilities, no warning signs.
