Something not right?

Description

Tons of spots. Accessible on the gravel road that leads to the Interpretive Centre, but instead of turning right on the asphalt, you go straight on the gravel. Once you cross the cattle gate, there are plenty of spots to choose from, and most seem to have fire rings. Spotted a handful of big rigs through the trees as I drove past. Just make sure you're not on private land, and watch out for livestock!
Saw some about 30’ trailers in here.

This place is no a huge active construction zone. A massive pipeline is coming down through this entire area. No longer able to camp here

Report Check-In

Here at a Saturday night, perfectly quiet, just four other campers with us. Great spot!

Report Check-In

Great spots! The gravel road after the interpretive centre road has a bit of pot holes. There are so many spots to pull off and a flat spot to camp. Many campfire spots. There are cows when we arrived.

Spent 1 night here. Drove into the road of the Frank slide interpretive centre and before you pass the centre there is a cattle gate on your left. If you go through there, there are some spots on the left side, you do have to drive through a bit of a dip. We have a class c motorhome and only just made it. There are fire pits as well. It's a gravel road with a lot of potholes. There are more spots up the hill if you keep on driving, but that was not a good idea with our RV. We were here alone, during the day there is some cars driving past, at night it's very quiet.

Report Check-In

As described , there are multiple places on either side of the gravel road to pull in to. Some are further off the road than others. Some are larger spaces for groups and others just good for single. We did not go all the way up the road
The gravel road is a a left off the road to the Frank Slide centre it is very rough with bad pot holes that are worse on the right side going up. We were there for the holiday so many groups up there having a good time but it got quiet later on.

This place is very popular on a Saturday. you unfortunately get big city douchebags that play loud music and bass until late at night. I parked further north and only had the faint sound of pounding bass from morons.

just to be clear since the name of the spot is misleading you have to drive passed the Frank slide interpretive center.

I've attached pictures of my site which would be suitable for smaller rigs.

I believe the more popular areas are big enough to support class A's and trailers if you can find space and don't mind lots of neighbours.

I recommended downloading avenza and the PLUZ maps for Livingston area to see the boundaries of this area. You'll be better able to disperse yourself from morons.
