As off May 12 - The water pump is accessible, but there is no water. It must still be shutoff for the winter.

New Shady Rest. All other areas were closed. Nice camp grounds close to town and walking/ biking trails. 28$ per night. A bit of a confusing first come (walk up) system though. host sign said off duty and looked permanent, and all vacant camp sites had "reserved, see host" permanently attached to the posts.
the guy selling fire wood was tge host, supposedly always on duty, and was super helpful. if there was no date tag on the site, it was available for that night.

best water in the world fresh, free and it fills your tank super fast! I don't want to leave mammoth just so I can keep filling my tanks with this water

No running water on 5/1/2021. I’m assuming this water is only available in summer months. Dump station is also not operable.

There is free outdoor water taps next to the dump station where you can fill up with your hose.
