Description
This is beautiful campsite established by David. Please call him before you arrive: +386 70 516 222
It’s a free campsite, however, if you want the place to be maintained as it is you are welcome to donate as much as you want and you are able to.
The campsite provides you with everything you need: a cold shower, a regular toilet, running water, a kitchen, a fire pit...not to mention the beautiful view of the mountains.
If you want David can give you information about local rafting or kayaking tours.
There is two waterfalls in walking distance (20min) from the campsite where you can cliff jump and swim.
If you stay with David please be respectful and help to make this stay a beautiful place.
HOW TO GET THERE:
From Bovec you follow the road to Kobarid for more or less 3km. At the sign of the golf course turn right and follow the road across the golf course (don’t hesitate, it’s just old people playing golf, they don’t bite). At the end of the golf course you will cross a small bridge. Right after the bridge, turn sharp left. There will be a sign “Privat. No parking.” That belongs to David. Keep going 10m more and you will see his property on the right hand side.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Lovely place to stay for donations. Simple and solid. Very nice views around. We stayed in a tent with motorcycle for one night. Waterfall is too cold to swim in 3rd September.

Cold shower with water of the river available. Very cold but refreshing!
He also has a cat, which will give you a lot of cuddles. 😻
